Lewis Trondheim (1964) je eden najvplivnejših francoskih stripovskih avtorjev zadnjih treh desetletij. Stripovskih veščin se je pri skoraj tridesetih priučil z risanjem 200-stranskega stripa o zajcu Lapinotu. V devetdesetih je s somišljeniki ustanovil založbo L’Association, ki je pretresla francosko stripovsko sceno in svetu predstavila glavne avtorje francoskega novega vala: Joanna Sfarja, Manuja Larceneta, Marjane Satrapi in Davida B (pri nas jih poznamo po prevodih stripov, kot so Pascin, Brodeckovo poročilo, Perzepolis in Na božjastni poti). Do danes je kot scenarist ali risar podpisal že več kot 100 stripov – od otroških prek eksperimentalnih do čistega popa. Trenutno je tudi urednik avtorske linije pri največji francoski stripovski založbi Delcourt. V slovenščini lahko beremo priljubljeno fantazijsko stripovsko sago Graščina (Graffit, 2020, orig. naslov: Donjon), ki jo je ustvaril v sodelovanju z več francoskimi stripovskimi zvezdami.

Na Tinti bo v čast leta frankofonskega stripa na ogled razstava Lewis Trondheim in Pijani zajci v +MSUMu na Metelkovi, kjer bomo mojstrova dela kombinirali z domačo produkcijo striparjev srednje generacije, v okviru sobotnega sejma v Kinu Šiška pa bo potekal spletni pogovor z avtorjem, ki se zaradi trenutnih epidemioloških razmer festivala žal ne bo osebno udeležil.

+MSUM in Zavod Stripolis predstavljata kombinirano razstavo enega največjih mojstrov francoskega stripa zadnjih desetletij, Lewisa Trondheima, ter devetih slovenskih striparjev srednje generacije – Mateja De Cecca, Mihe Hančiča, Tanje Komadine, Davida Krančana, Izarja Lunačka, Ivana Mitrevskega, Sanje Pocrnjić, Aje Sredanović in Igorja Šinkavca, ki so pod imenom Pijani zajci za razstavo skupaj ustvarili kup eksperimentalnih stripov po načelih gibanja OuBaPo, ki jih je v devetdesetih skupaj s sodelavci razvil prav Trondheim. Ustvarili so stripe, ki se berejo v več smeri naenkrat, stripe, kjer se sličice med seboj menjajo po vnaprej določenih pravilih, stripe, ki nastajajo ekipno od zadnje sličice proti prvi itd.

Tretji del razstave je posvečen lanskemu dobitniku Zlatirepca za najboljši izvirni strip, Zoranu Smiljaniću, ki se bo predstavil z originali iz svojih nedavnih zgodovinskih stripov o Cankarju in požigu Narodnega doma v Trstu. Odprtje razstave bo obeleženo še s projekcijo stripov Pijanih zajcev, sestavljenih iz omejenega števila modularnih svetlobnih sličic na fasado muzeja ob glasbeni spremljavi ter predstavitvijo fanzina, v katerem bodo s komentarji delovnega procesa zbrani vsi stripi ekipe z razstave. V sklopu sobotnega stripovskega sejma v Kinu Šiška bo potekal tudi spletni pogovor z Lewisom Trondheimom.

Razstava bo na ogled do 25. 11. 2020.

Spletni pogovor z legendo francoskega stripa o njegovih začetkih, vzponu in nadaljnji usodi pravkar ubujene popularne stripovske sage Graščine, ki smo jo spomladi dobili tudi v slovenskem prevodu (Graffit, 2020). Z Lewisom Trondheimom se bo pogovarjal Izar Lunaček. Pogovor bo potekal v angleščini.
