The festival Saturday traditionally concludes with the presentation of the Zlatirepec Awards, this year again joined by the Sophie Castille Award for the best comic translation into Slovenian. This year’s jury consists of comic artist Dora Kaštrun, critic Katja Štesl, and designer Žiga Valetič, while the Sophie Castille Award will be presented by renowned British comics historian and theorist Paul Gravett. The ceremony will also feature singer-songwriter Niko Novak, who will perform songs from his brand-new music-and-comics album Haphazard Reruns (ŠKUC, 2025), created in collaboration with young visual artist Tamara Mihalič.
