The Comic Metamorphoses (Strip preobrazbe) project, launched by the magazines Literatura and Stripburger, will visit II Gymnasium Maribor. The discussion will feature comic artist and illustrator Gvendolina Završnik, who adapted the poem Pears (Hruške) into comic form, and the poem’s author Tanja Božić. In conversation with poet and translator Nina Medved, they will reflect on the relationship between literary and visual language, offer insight into the process of poetic and comic creation, and reveal how the comic metamorphosis of Pears unfolded.
