What does the independent comic scene look like in Finland and Serbia, and what can be created outside mainstream artistic currents? What happens when comics or graphics break free from conventional rules, formats, and production methods? These questions will be explored with the Finnish comic collective Kutikuti and Belgrade’s Matrijaršija. Both develop their own means of production and distribution, viewing art as a collective practice and a platform for self-organisation, exploration, and connection. The discussion will be moderated by Pia Nikolič.
