In the masterclass, German comic artist Nadine Redlich will present a selection of her works and reveal her creative process and mindset – from initial ideas and finding the right visual solution to the final comic page. Her minimalism is reduced almost to the absolute extreme, stripped of redundant details and seemingly devoid of action. Yet it is precisely from the barely perceptible shifts between panels that a playful absurdity emerges. She will explore this during the masterclass, as well as interpret selected comic excerpts live.
