Belgian comic artist and illustrator Lukas Verstraete builds his creative world at the intersection of absurdity, surrealism, and sharp humour. He playfully weaves a multitude of references into his work, drawing from painting, film, and pop culture, ranging from Hieronymus Bosch and Francisco Goya to David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino. In his masterclass, he will reveal where he finds inspiration and how he tames his ideas, transforming them into bold and distinctive visual narratives.
